Ultrasonography of Osteosarcoma in Dogs

Canine, 1.5 years, with suspected leptospirosis in clinical examination were observed jaundiced mucous membranes, abdominal enlargement, dark urine and prostration. In sonographic examination was observed bladder with intense cellularity and blood clots, abdominal free liquid, liver with decreased size and irregular contours (cirrhosis), and pancreatitis.

Canine, female, 16 yrs., which in biochemistry showed increased liver enzymes, urine with a strong odor and concentrated.
In sonographic examination was visualized; Urinary bladder intense cellularity and crystals; right kidney with presence of two cysts in the renal cortex; Adrenal with large increase in volume, with a slightly heterogeneous left; , the liver parenchyma with heterogeneous hypoechoic nodules and presence of a cyst in the right lobe and gallbladder with intense mud and stones with cystic duct dilatation.

Renal changes in a 2 year old canine

Renal enzyme alterations (creatinine 8) were observed, and the patient requested an abdominal ultrasonography, in which alterations in the renal parenchyma were visualized, as well as free fluid in the renal sub-capsular region (presence of the halo around the Kidney with acute failure), dilatation of proximal ureters, in addition to other alterations such as: thickening of the gastric and enteric wall; Increased splenic and hepatic volume; Urinary vesicle crystaluria and dilation of the urethra; Turbulence in caudal cava vein.
